Karakachans
Karakachans are an ancient breed of livestock guardian dogs from Bulgaria. They were specifically bred to protect sheep from wolves and bear. Ours don't have to worry about predators that size, but they've still saved our flocks and herds from threats such as coyotes, bobcats, foxes, domestic dogs, and even hawks and other birds of prey. They have a great work ethic and love to protect their families too.

Our puppies are born outside to proven, working parents. We have three generations in the field!

Poultry and livestock are a part of their lives from the very first day. By 7 weeks old, our pups have direct access to cattle, donkeys, pigs, horses, sheep, free-range poultry and waterfowl, cats, other dogs and our 7 children.

Pups go home between 10 and 12 weeks of age.
If a mentor dog is present at their new home, we will allow pups to leave us around 10 weeks of age. If a mentor dog is not present, we will keep the pups until they are 12 weeks old. This allows them to remain with their litter, mother and other dogs so that they learn important social skills and hit their developmental milestones.
Puppy pricing ranges from $1000-1400 depending on type of registration desired (non-registered or full registration.
Pups are registerable, microchipped (all registration fees covered), receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming. They are kept on flea prevention and professionally groomed before they go home.

We also include a veterinarian-issued health certificate (required for professional transport or crossing state lines), 2-year genetic heath guarantee and 30-days of Trupanion health insurance.
